For Baahubali, Tamannaah Had to Put on Weight. And Here's Why
"NUMEROUS PEOPLE HAVE A MISUNDERSTANDING THAT I LOST WEIGHT FOR BAAHUBALI. BUT ACTUALLY I HAD TO PUT ON WEIGHT FOR THE FILM AS I'M WORKING WITH AN ACTOR WHO IS SIX FEET, THREE INCHES TALL," TAMANNAAH SAID.
On-screen character Tamannaah Bhatia has shot down reports proposing that she shed pounds for her extreme battling scenes in the S Rajamouli-coordinated Baahubali, rather she put on weight for the film.
"Various individuals have a misjudging that I shed pounds for Baahubali. All things considered I needed to put on weight for the film as I'm working with a performing artist who is six feet, three inches tall. Furthermore, I was looking a bit too little before him and I should resemble a warrior, which is the part I'm playing," Tamannaah said at an occasion where she was available to dispatch her yoga instructor's book.
The 25-year-old performing artist feels that 'inclination sound and fit' is more vital than getting to be 'size zero' for the sole purpose of picking up exposure.
Baahubali, whose Hindi rendition is exhibited by Karan Johar, additionally stars Prabhas Raju, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty in lead parts.
Baahubali will hit the silver screens on July 10.
