Worse Ways To Torture And Kill A Person
Over the course of human history technology has been modified to effect torture and executions, we are going to cover a few of the most common torture and execution techniques and thank god we are no longer subject to these cruel and unusual forms of torture.
1) Garrote – Was used for several centuries, the victim is forced to sit in a chair where they remain upright. While sitting upright there is a bracket placed over the neck and tightened with a screw. This bracket or strap will either strangle the prisoner or break their neck depending on the desired result. Some have used a screw that would dig into the skin of the victim until they are gored to death. While not popular anymore this was used to extra information from enemy soldiers and was quite popular with the French Foreign Legion.

2) Escapism was one of the most painful forms of torture due to the manner it was committed. A person is stripped naked and tied inside a boat where they are forced to drink milk and honey bringing on diarrhea. As the person continues to excrete feces the boat fills up with the excrement which attracts insects, these insects lay eggs which develop and begin to eat the person slowly, since the person is unable to protect themselves they will suffer a slow and agonizing death.

3)Flaying : With this barbaric procedure a person would have his or her skin removed with a knife or some other type of sharp object. The purpose of this was to either torture or kill the person but either way can you imagine having your skin cut off your body and there is nothing you can do to stop it but scream !

4) Lingchi : Another terribly way to die, the victim is cut slowly to pieces from their feet all the way to their head. They have to endure each and every cut and suffer terrible pain without mercy. Since this is a horrible way to die it was reserved for the most serious of crimes but is no longer used to punish individuals.

5) Breaking Wheel : With this torture apparatus a person is strapped to it and stretched to the maximum length possible. Then the wheel is turned and as it is turned there is an individual who will hit the victim with a large weapon of some type. These weapons are used to put fear in opposing armies and it was quite effective until it was classified as cruel and unusual punishment.

6) Brazen Bull : This is pure torture, a bull made of brass is used to torture and kill. The victim is placed inside this bull and there is a fire made on the outside of the bull. As the brass heats up the person inside is literally cooked alive, the temperature and pressure inside this bull as been classified as one of the worse ways to die.

7) Disembowelment : A terribly cruel way to die, the victim has their internal organs cut right out of their body leaving the heart for the very last to maximize pain and suffering. This form of torture was quite popular in Japan and ritual suicide for those who lost “their honor”.

8) Boiling : Quite pragmatic but effective way to dispatch of a person. The victim is placed inside a bowl or pot of water. A fire is made around them until the water boils and killing the victim at the same time, it must be really painful to be boiled alive !

9) Impalement : Was used by Vlad Teppes better known today as Count Dracula, essentially a large, sharp piece of wood is placed in the anus of the victim and drive up through their mouth. When it comes to painful ways to die this is one of the absolute worse and it was used for psychological warfare, few soldiers would want to fight an enemy or impales their captives.

10) Drawing And Quartering : This penalty was applied to individuals who were convicted of treason and it is quite obvious why, no one would want to die in this manner. The person would be dragged to the place where he was to be executed and then hanged till near death. Just before death he would have his genitals and internal organs disembowel and presented in front of his face before having all of his limbs including his head removed from his torso.
